beat the drum brought their biggest show to date to glasgow royal concert hall. a sold-out night, self-promoted, with no promoter behind it. for a tribute act to fill one of glasgow's premier concert halls on their own terms, it was a significant moment. they wanted it documented properly.

the show was filmed by bbc alba for a two-part documentary. images from this commission were subsequently licensed for use as the lead thumbnail for both episodes of beat the drum: dìleab runrig, broadcast on bbc iplayer in april 2025.
